The band came out with a compilation many years ago called Maximum R&B and that's what this is. Like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, the Who did some covers early on, in this case it was a couple James Brown tracks, "I Don't Mind" and "Please, Please, Please" but darned if they didn't make them their own. The originals are all great/5(73).

The spectacular track five disc super-deluxe edition of MY GENERATION features these unheard songs as well as unreleased demos, unreleased alternate mixes, new remasters and a stereo remix which was created using new overdubs from Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend. For this mix Pete used exactly the same guitars and amps as the original album.
