The Wise Fools Pub a Chicago institution in Lincoln Park that is now defunct. This design is loosely based on one of the logos that they used behind the bandstand. In the 70s The Wise Fools Pub hosted blues legends like Muddy Waters, Otis Rush, Howlin' Wolf and Mighty Joe Young. Son Seals recorded his incredible album "Live and Burning" here pins.

For much of the s and '80s, guitarist Mighty Joe Young "owned" Chicago's cozy Wise Fools Pub — at least musically speaking. He was the club's top draw, but this live disc, caught at the late and still-lamented Wise Fools, finds him sticking to the tiredest of warhorses.

Other live albums have been marred by fair to middling pickup bands. Not only is it his working band, it's the first live Otis Rush album recorded on his own turf; Wise Fools Pub was just about the only Chicago club Rush played at regularly during this time. Excellent sound seals the deal.

You Can’t Quit Me, Baby Lyrics: It's a mistake but who knows / Followed you home / Crawled in your window / This life is a trip when you're psycho in love / And I know / Followed your friends.
